This September brings to Nottinghamshire a new festival on the grounds of the ancestral home of Lord Byron; the Robin Hood Folk Festival 2015, at Newstead Abbey Park

This September brings to Nottinghamshire a new festival on the grounds of the ancestral home of Lord Byron. The Robin Hood Folk Festival will be taking place on the beautiful stretching lawns of Newstead Abbey, a 12th century medieval monastic house. Situated beside the River Leen, Byron graced the rooms various times between 1808-1814.

Castle Rock is hugely proud to be a sponsor of this new festival. You’ll find our bar in the ‘main festival area’ of the park, and you won’t be able to miss us. We’ll be serving up some Castle Rock favourites like Harvest Pale, Red Riding Hood and Sheriff’s Tipple, and then some.

The family friendly festival will include archery, arts and crafts and live folk music. You can even camp on the grounds and   wake up feeling poetic (Byron-style): grass camping tickets, full weekend tickets and individual day tickets are available at www.robinhoodfolkfestival.co.uk

Join us in celebrating this great event, we’ll see you there!
