Kitchen staff at the Stratford Haven rose to the challenge of national curry week in November 2010 with a mouth-watering medley of meat and veggie curries to satisfy palates of every taste.
With at least five different styles available each day from the 14 separate dishes created, the week was described as ‘hot’. The total sales got off to a flying start with 71 meals served on a single evening proving once again what great taste Notts County fans have. Most popular were the Beef Madras and Chicken Tikka Masala.
The Strat’s catering manager, Jan Highcock, and her colleague, Christy Atkinson, did the recipe magic.
The most popular accompaniment was Harvest Pale, followed by garlic naan.
