ALEXANDRA HOTEL

Historic pub with strong railway connections - due to its proximity to the railway station - The Alexandra Hotel was a former Shipstone's pub, the birthplace of the Derby branch of CAMRA (1976).

Justifiably renowned for it's wide range of beers - imported brews in addition to cask-conditioned-ales, the 'Alex' has won many awards including being named CAMRA East Midlands Pub of the Year during it's first time under the Tynemill banner.

The pub is indeed a 'Hotel', with four en-suite twin rooms available. The pub's lounge is also available for private hire.
