The Maze is a warm and intimate Bavarian styled music venue located at the top of Nottingham's Mansfield Road hill (Just up from the 'Poacher) All kinds of music and entertainment are catered for, with not only the best of the local bands on show but also regular club nights and some top name bands from around the globe. Magners comedy nights are on every Thursday and if you check out the listings your sure to find something for any occasion, be it a messy night of drinking and dancing, a special show for a birthday treat or a fun work night out. Shows are on every night of the week so check the Maze website for more info!

Being a Castle Rock pub we do of course offer high quality bar beverages including a comprehensive range of spirits, high quality wine list, four cask conditioned real ales (including Britains favourite Harvest Pale as a
resident) as well as an absolutely mammoth selection of continental beers available on draught and in bottles. The pumps feature Stowford Press Cider, Liefman's Kriek, Peroni, Maisel's Weisse, Veltins and so much more!

Bar snacks and a range of homemade and honest warm drinks are also available.

Persons under the age of 18 are permitted on to the premises to enjoy the entertainment as long as they are supervised by an adult who should alert us on arrival.

advance, so to avoid the dissapointment of being told the gigs sold out when you get here you can do the following to make sure your at the gig you want to be at.

Happybeingmiserable Presents…
Kristeen Young - Kristeen performed at the Nottingham Arena, opening for Morrissey in 2007. Young commands attention with her classically trained voice, quirky costumes and thought-provoking lyrics. She's attracted the interest of musical legends like Morrissey, producer Tony Visconti and David Bowie. (She sings and plays piano on Bowie's Heathen album)Plus also singing backing vocals on Anti Flag`s new cd and on Morrissey`s That`s How People Grow Up single.

Thur 3rd- The Maze Presents..
Sonic Boom 6 – One of the top new punk and Ska bands in the UK, mixing a hint of reggae and soul to boot, SB6 recently supported the likes of Reel Big Fish on their UK tour and also Big D and the Kids Table in their first tour stateside. Catch them now as they are amazing!

Jimmy The Squirrel – Just signed to Do The Dog records, Nottingham’s top Ska, reggae band’s debut E.P is now in shops!
Minus Society – Nottingham/Nuneaton based Skacore band with catchy and aggressive punk tendencies. Minus Society are like a mix of King Prawn and Big D.
Fulibulbus – Leeds based Skacore with a funky hiphop edge, Fulibulbus are one of the most entertaining bands you will see!

Ian Mclagan and the Bump Band
Ian McLagan has etched his distinctive musical talents onto the playlist of rock'n'roll history, a member of The Faces and Small Faces, his Wurlitzer electric piano is heard on everything from 'Miss You' by The Rolling Stones, to the Small Faces classic 'Itchycoo Park', not to mention Rod Stewart's 'Maggie May'.
His debut solo album, 'Troublemaker', in 1979 featured Keith Richards, Ron Wood and Ringo Starr, and his current band the bump regularly have guest appearances.
Awarded the prestigious Ivor Novello Award in 1996 for his outstanding contributions to British music and inducted into the Texas Music Hall of Fame in 2004, McLagan is beloved by musicians and music lovers alike.
