GOLDEN EAGLE
 

Like the Eagle in Boston, the Golden Eagle on Lincoln's lengthy high street found it's way to Castle Rock via Soulby Brewery and the Small Beer pub company.

Popular with football fans going to Lincoln City's Sincil Bank - the pub has even won awards from supporters of visiting teams, as well as enjoying a strong local customer base, the Golden Eagle offers up to 9 cask beers and holds an annual beer festival in the autumn.

The pub has a function room available for hire. It can hold up to 40 people, and food can be arranged. There's also a beer garden for those warmer days.

The Golden Eagle Football Club first team are this year's winners of the Lincolnshire Premier Division and winners of the prestigious Ron Eaglen Cup, this following the very successful season last year after finishing second in the Premiership and winning the Ron Eaglen Cup. The pub's second team has not faired too well of late, suffering a series of large goal difference defeats in recent times. However, the Golden Eagle Football Club's reserves managed to finish the season on a high after beating Wragby in their last game of the season.
