NEWSHOUSE



 

Although built in the 1950's, the Newshouse occupies a site which was first licensed a Century earlier. It was operated latterly by Home Ales and then Mansfield Brewery before being acquired by Castle Rock in 2002.

Nestling in the shadow of the imposing structures of Nottingham's Lace Market area, the pub is very handily placed for visitors arriving by train, bus and now tram, as the terminus is a mere 200 yards away.

Up to 8 cask beers are on offer in the Newshouse, which comprises of a traditional bar and comfortable lounge, with outside seating for warmer days.
