May 18th 1999 was a Red Letter day for drinkers in West Bridgford, with the opening of the Stratford Haven representing the first new on-license in the town for many a long year.

Constructed from the shell of an old pet shop, the 'Strat' has been a real success story from day one, with a wide cross-section of the local populace enjoying its hospitality.

The pub's proximity to Trent Bridge cricket ground and Forest's City Ground ensures that match days are never quiet affairs.

Up to 14 cask beers are on sale, in addition to a wide range of imported brands.

The Stratford will be running the Stout and Porter Trail where there will be at least one stout or porter on sale throughout these dates, plus special promotion on tues 9th when its brewery night with live music from Kellys Heroes.

Sunday 14th: Mothers Day
There will be a 3 course set menu for pre booked tables only.
