Kiss Me Kate gets wedding couple’s blessing
Castle Rock’s Kiss Me Kate beer has been sampled, and thoroughly enjoyed, by Adam and Toni, the soon-to-be-wed couple who assisted in its creation in March. In a small family affair, hosted by Castle Rock’s Charlie Blomeley at the Vat and Fiddle pub, the Nottinghamshire couple and his mum and dad, Diane and Ian, were among the first to sup the draught version of ‘their’ and Kate’s and Wills’ ale.
Adam, a recent convert to the joys of real ale, described the taste as ‘magic’. His dad, a regular at the Bread and Bitter pub was even more effusive …. but decorum forbids quoting his exact description..
Adam has also given the thumbs up to the bottled version, purchased at his neighbourhood Morrisons, and is looking forward to his stag night when Kiss Me Kate will be the beer of choice.
