The Keans Head pub in the city’s Lace Market is clearing away the usual pub paraphernalia on Sunday 18 September for a casino night to raise funds for the charity Help for Heroes. Bookings are being taken now.

With a cocktail on arrival, a ‘High Rollers’ buffet and fun chips to play with, manager Sam Skinner- Watts says his highly trained dealers, relieved from their usual duties behind the bar, will make the evening the equal of anything Monte Carlo can offer. “Oui, this promises to be a lot of fun while raising money for this worthwhile cause.”

“Roulette and blackjack look likely to be the most popular games to play,” says Sam.
