The e-petition to stop the beer duty escalator has now reached a very impressive 30,000 figures. But unfortunately we still need many more to make the impact we need to save the British pint and the British pub!

We need 100,000 to scrap the beer duty escalator. Each 2% increase on the tax of beer severely threatens one of our biggest traditions: drinking a pint in a British pub. Over the past four years, the tax on beer has risen by more than 40%, putting increasing pressure on these pubs and their publicans. So whoever you are, please sign the e-petition so we can make real headway to stop this escalator.
