Having now completed its second decade as a Castle Rock pub, the former Charnwood public house was closed and seemingly unwanted before the company saw its potential, gave it a new name and re-opened the doors to a thirsty public.

The Swan in the Rushes has remained an integral part of the Loughborough real ale drinking scene ever since, offering up to ten cask ales.

The numerous rooms include bar and lounge, snug and an upstairs function room which doubles as a skittle alley.

There are four letting bedrooms.
