COMING UP: Thursday 20th June 2013

Beerd Brewery (England)

Scottish 80 Special (4.4%): This malt driven dark ruby ale uses five malts (Pale, Roast Barley, Crystal, Wheat & Smoked Malt) and is styled after the traditional Scottish Export 80 Shilling (80/-). The smoked malt gives it an extra slant to the malty backbone. It is brewed during our natural untreated water which is similar to that of Edinburgh, the home of this beer style.

- American Copper Ale (4.5%): A copper coloured American Ale brewed using Pale, Crystal, Cara & Munich malts. It’s liberally hopped with three West Coast varieties: Summit, Calypso and Willamette. The malty backbone helps to balance the hop bitterness. This beer has citrus, piney and tropical fruit aroma.
