Information
Castle Rock is a pub and brewing group based in the East Midlands and Yorkshire.
The brewery (which is Nottingham’s largest full mash brewery) now has a brewing capacity of 360 barrels a week; and has won various awards for the consistency and high quality of our beers, thanks to the hard work of our head brewer Adrian Redgrove and our brewery staff. Click here to see Castle Rock’s awards so far.
Castle Rock currently operates 20 pubs, and strives to support regional, micro and new breweries (which is reflected in our charter and NewBrew and LocAle nights). Some of this is done by swapping beers with similar minded companies.
Castle Rock Brewery currently produce a range of six regular cask ales, including pale ales, an IPA, a mild, and two more traditional but complex bitters. On top of this, we brew 12 beers a year (once a month) for our “Natural Selection” range, which supports the Nottingham Wildlife Trust; and 4 beers a year to celebrate Nottingham’s great citizens, heroes & heroines.
The brewery uses only the finest ingredients available, with a view to be as ethical as possible and with minimum waste (our spent grains are actually used by a local farmer). Ultimately, this is to deliver the highest quality real ales to our discerning followers!
