General Manager – The Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough. Closing date: Sunday 22nd September 2019, 5pm

The Swan In The Rushes requires a competent, highly-motivated, confident and focussed individual to take on the role of General Manager. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of running this site located in Loughborough. Providing an extensive range of cask ale, craft beers, wines and spirits plus a varied food menu with dedicated event space, the pub currently has a small amount of ground level outdoor seating which we’re hoping to expand next year plus a first floor terrace.

The Swan is a locals pub and the successful applicant will be required to involve themselves in the local community. The successful applicant should be fluent with all social media platforms and will need to develop the business to grow on the current performance whilst achieving the budgeted KPI’s. Applicants should be able to demonstrate knowledge and competency in all aspects of drink planning & service along with having strong cellar knowledge.  Staff management is a prerequisite alongside possessing first-class customer service skills.

Living accommodation may form part of the package.
