Deputy Manager – Fox & Grapes

Closing date: Thursday 19th August, 5pm

The Fox & Grapes requires a competent, highly-motivated, confident and focused individual to take on the role of deputy manager.

The candidate will be supporting the manager in all aspects of running this site located in the trendy, up and coming Sneinton Market area of Nottingham, providing an extensive range of cask ale, craft beers, wines and spirits plus a varied food menu.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate knowledge and competency in all aspects of drink planning and service. Strong skills in the kitchen are essential as menu development, promotion and food service will form part of the daily duties.

Staff management is a prerequisite alongside possessing first-class customer service skills.

A good working knowledge of Stocklink and the ‘end of week’ paperwork process would be advantageous but full training can be given to the right candidate.

Supervisor / Shift Manager – Poppy and Pint

The Poppy and Pint required a confident and focused individual to join the management team as a supervisor and shift manager.

The right candidate should have good working knowledge of leading a team, craft beer, cider, wine and spirits.

The Poppy is Castle Rock’s leading food venue and has a full diary of corporate and private functions, so the right candidate must be versatile with transferable skills.

Experience of working with a cask ale cellar is essential in this thriving community site in the heart of Lady Bay.

Familiarity with all social media platforms is essential in aiding the promotion of the pub.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate knowledge and competency in all aspects of drink planning and service along with having strong skills on all social media platforms and event planning.

Staff management is a prerequisite alongside possessing exemplary customer service skills.
