Full-time Warehouse & Logistics Manager (Salary negotiable), Castle Rock Brewery

Castle Rock Brewery is an independent brewery that has won many awards including Champion Beer of Britain in 2010 for Harvest Pale. We brew consistent, quality beers and deliver quality service at every level of our business. We are Nottinghamshire’s largest independent brewery.

A vacancy has arisen for the position of Warehouse & Logistics Manager within our small and dedicated team and we are seeking to appoint the person that will help write the next chapter in our success story

The successful candidate will join the brewery senior management team and be fully involved in taking us to the next level as a business. They will also have a proven track record in a similar role and have responsibility for the team that delivers;

  • Day to day running of the warehouse function
  • Managing a small but growing fleet of vehicles
  • Stock maintenance
  • Management of drivers
  • Route/load planning
  • Forklift compliance and maintenance
  • Empty cask collection organisation / Foreign cask repatriation
  • Liaising with Sales/ Production in production planning
  • Yard integrity

This is a hands-on role, which will involve leading and working with a small team ensuring our product reaches the customer on time and in perfect condition.

You will need to be reliable, well organised, punctual, flexible, have an attention to detail, be computer literate, be eligible to work in the UK and have a good work ethic. You will also need to be relatively fit, as there will be a lot of heavy lifting involved.

A current Counterbalance Forklift licence and a driving licence is essential.

Current CPC and Operators Licence is preferred.

Full-time Supervisor – Yarn, Nottingham

Yarn in Nottingham’s Royal Theatre and Concert Hall is now hiring for a Supervisor. The right candidate should have a good working knowledge of leading a team; craft beers, cider’s, wine’s and spirits; experience of working with a cask cellar is essential as is familiarity with all social media platforms, essential to aid with promoting the pub.
