The Swan in the Rushes has been part of Loughborough’s real ale scene for three decades and is the longest-standing Castle Rock pub.
On the bar there is an award-winning array of ciders, alongside a wide selection of craft beer, wines and spirits. Three handpulls sport Castle Rock beers, while one permanent pump is dedicated to local brewery Charnwood.
The main hub of the Swan is comprised of a cosy lounge with an open fire and a bar area. Off the lobby, you’ll find the games room and pool table. A suntrap beer garden is tucked away at the rear.
The pub is also now home to Merv’s Kitchen, offering the best in American BBQ food. Expect delicious marinated slow-cooked ribs, crispy fried chicken wings and burgers and German-inspired Bockwurst sausage hot dogs. Check out his website here!
