Derby

Alexandra Hotel

The Alexandra Hotel was the birthplace of Derby CAMRA in 1974 and remains a real ale focused pub today. Alongside six+ cask beers, you’ll find three beers in keg and a range of bottles, cans, and ciders.

Located on the edge of the city, the Alex is just a short walk from Derby train station. The pub layout is traditional, with a central bar flanked by a lounge and a bar area. Railway memorabilia adorns the lounge and outside area, while the bar is decorated with classic breweriana. Four letting rooms are available on the first floor.

The Alex hosts occasional themed food nights and serves a light menu of bar snacks, pork pies, homemade sausage rolls and fresh filled cobs.
