Assistant Manager at the Embankment

The Embankment requires a highly motivated and dynamic individual to take the role of Assistant Manager.

The Embankment is a large, busy pub with a sizeable beer garden, civil ceremony license, 6 potential function rooms and is in close proximity to cricket & football grounds.

The Assistant Manager will take the role of ‘number 3’ at The Embankment, assisting the General Manager & Deputy Manager with all aspects of running the business, stepping up to cover the Deputy Managers role temporarily when necessary.

This role would be perfect for someone who’s already in a supervisory position and looking to step up and earn an annual salary.

Applicants should also be fully fluent in social media platforms, offer knowledge and competency in bar/staff management and will be fully cellar trained already. An interest in restaurant and events service will also help immensely.

Bar Staff at the Horse & Plough, Bingham

The Horse and Plough, Bingham is looking for enthusiastic and highly-motivated individuals to join their team!

The right candidates will be able to work behind the bar, 10-20 hours per week (part-time) taking orders and serving food and drinks.

Experience is preferred but not essential as full training can be given to the right candidate. A positive attitude, excellent customer service skills and flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential. All candidates must be 18+.

Part-time Events Assistant at the Embankment

The Embankment is looking for a part-time Events Assistant to help with day to day bookings and room management.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Management of initial event enquiries via email and phone, reporting to GM once interest is concrete
  • Co-ordination of client show arounds
  • Event set ups
  • Maintaining a functional, organised and clean back of house

We are looking for someone who is MS office proficient; especially MS Outlook and has a passion for delivering high quality customer service. You should also be self-motivated, organised and efficient, with a willingness to learn and adopt systems already in place.

Shifts will be mostly weekday daytimes (sometimes only a few hours long) but some weekend and evening set ups/show arounds will be needed. This job currently doesn’t involve being present at the events, but could change into a full time role for the right candidate.

16-20 hours per week. Hourly pay, up to £9.80 per hour depending on experience.

2 x Full-time Bar Supervisors at The Embankment

Castle Rock requires 2 highly motivated, dynamic and focused individuals to join the team as supervisors at The Embankment.

The Embankment is a large, busy pub with a sizeable beer garden, civil ceremony licence, 6 potential function rooms and is in close proximity to cricket and football grounds.

The candidates will be supporting the management team in all aspects of running the pub, with full site responsibility on some shifts.

Full supervisory training will be provided but the following will help your application immensely:

– An interest in world & local beer
– Experience in restaurants or busy food led pubs
– Experience in leading a team
– A strong desire to learn
