Assistant Manager at Willowbrook

The Willowbrook requires a confident, driven and focused individual to take the role of Assistant Manager.

The Applicant will support the manager in all aspects of running the pub and have the motivation to help extend and expand the business.

The Willowbrook is a large community pub with a separate dining area, gardens to the front and rear, with a separate function room spaces.

The successful candidate will display:

  • Fluency in all social media platforms.
  • Demonstrate exceptional craft and cask beer knowledge.
  • Be cellar trained.
  • Have first class customer service skills.
  • Have good knowledge of Access EPOS and People systems.
  • Support the manager in staff management; ensuring an efficient and harmonious performances.

Supervisor at the Newshouse

The Newshouse is looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused person to join their small team as a Supervisor.

The successful candidate will work with the manager to continue the growth of the business including planning and marketing of events that fit the traditional and community-led spirit of the pub. This includes maintaining high standard of service, cleanliness and product quality including cellar management, and managing solo shifts which will involve both quiet and busy periods.

We have recently transformed the upstairs flat into accommodation and the successful candidate will be expected to assist with cleaning and promotion of this space. Evening and weekend availability is essential.

Full-time and Part-time Bar Staff at the Embankment

The Embankment are looking for some enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join their team!

The right candidates will be able to work behind the bar, 15-25 hours per week (part-time) or 30-35 hours per week (full-time) taking orders and serving food and drinks.

Experience is preferred but not essential as full training can be given to the right candidate.

A positive attitude, excellent customer service skills and flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential. All candidates must be 18+.

General Manager at the Vat & Fiddle

The Vat & Fiddle requires a highly motivated and dynamic individual to take the role of General Manager.

The Vat & Fiddle is the brewery tap and a busy pub, with beer gardens to the front and rear, a large function room and events space and close to local sports grounds so incredibly busy with football and cricket fans.

Applicants should have in-depth knowledge of cask and craft beers, experience of planning and organising live music and other events, the desire to drive the brewery tour business and the ability to manage multiple events.

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate strong financial understanding to operate within KPI’s, be a strong team leader and be fully fluent on all social media platforms.

Kitchen Porter at the Embankment

The Embankment are looking for a highly dynamic and dynamic individual to join their team!

Position: Kitchen Porter

Hours: 7-14 per week

Duties: Washing pots, helping the team prepare food and keeping the kitchen clean to a high standard

Events Assistant at the Embankment

The lovely Embankment pub are hiring for an events assistant!

The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager on the events side of the business. This job will include bar, office and event shifts. Generally, it will be split 50/50 between bar and events, however some weeks the distribution will change depending on the needs of the business.

Position: Full-time

Responsibilities will include:

  • Administration of initial event enquiries via email and phone, reporting to GM once interest is concrete.
  •  Co-ordination and attendance of prospective client venue viewings.
  • Responsibility for event set ups.
  • Maintaining a functional, organised and clean back of house.

The right candidate will:

  • Already have some bar experience.
  • Be flexible week to week.
  • Have a strong understanding of verbal and written communication in a professional setting.
  • Be computer literate.
  • Have a passion for delivering high quality customer service.
  • Be organised, efficient and able to self-motivate.
  • Have a willingness to learn and adopt systems already in place.
