Can you tell us a little about yourselves?
"Fat Digester are a music-based collective that at times includes dancers, rappers and visual artists."

What sort of music do you play?
"Our aim is to fuse fun and social comment in a blend of jazz, funk, soul, dub, rock and hip hop. We formed way back in 1996 at the height of Britpop and the Spice Girls, the launch of Google, the breakup of Charles and Diana, Jarvis waving his bum at MJ and the first mission impossible film. Fast forward several years later, thousands of gigs and more members than the Conservatives have had leaders and we are still creating new music and still helping dance."

If your band was a gin, what gin would you be and why?
"If the band was a gin, I would liken us to something fiery like Khao San Gin as its chilli based, but for me I'd go local with something like a Redsmith or Ruddy Fine Gin, tonic and a slice of cucumber, as a change from lemon and lime!"
