But Castle Rock’s story isn’t ours alone. It belongs to everyone who has stepped through the doors of one of our pubs, raised a glass of Castle Rock beer or shared a moment with us along the way.
Now, we’d love you to help us tell it.
Remember when you discovered your Castle Rock local? Remember that first pint of Harvest Pale? The gig you still talk about? The quick drink that turned into a lifelong friendship?
Perhaps you met your partner in one of our pubs, celebrated a birthday or wedding with us, joined a brewery tour, worked behind one of our bars, or simply found a favourite corner that felt like home.
Whether it’s a landmark occasion, a funny story or a small moment that has stayed with you, we want to hear it.
Your memory could be from last year or decades ago. It could be about:
Big or small, every memory forms part of the Castle Rock story.
Use the form below to tell us your memory. You can also upload photographs, old menus, beer labels, posters or other pieces of Castle Rock history.
Selected stories and images may be featured on our website, app and social media channels as part of our anniversary celebrations throughout 2027.
They may also appear in the special anniversary relaunch of the Castle Rock Quarter, our much-loved in-house publication, available to read in Castle Rock pubs throughout the year.
For 50 years, Castle Rock pubs have been places where people come together. For 30 years, we have had the privilege of brewing beers to be enjoyed in them.
We remember when, 25 years ago, our founder Chris Holmes sat down for a pint with Erin McDaid to discuss how Castle Rock could help to support Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust.
As they say, all the rest is history. Although perhaps the best is yet is come.
However long you have known us, thank you for being part of the journey.
We can’t wait to hear what you remember.
