Supervisor at the Poppy and Pint

The Poppy and Pint requires a confident and focussed individual to join the management team as supervisor.

Experience of working with a cask ale cellar is essential in this thriving community side in the heart of Lady Bay.

HR Manager

We are seeking a diligent and organised HR Manager to join our team!

DESCRIPTION:

The successful candidate will be responsible for fulfilling HR functions and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels.

The position will be office-based but may require visits to pub locations. Due to the nature of the business, HR support may occasionally be needed across weekends or evenings.

ABOUT YOU:
The right candidate will have experience in managing people with a good understanding on employment laws and regulations, excellent communication skills and strong organisational skills. A relevant degree is preferred.

Title: HR Manager

Location: Castle Rock Brewery

Salary: £18,000-£22,500, dependant on experience and qualifications

Hours: Part time (25 hours per week) through Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (flexible)

Part-Time Events Assistant at the Canalhouse

The Canalhouse are hiring for a part-time events assistant!

Hours: 24 per week, paid hourly, likely over 3 days

Shifts will be a mix of weekday, evenings and weekends to cover admin, set ups, show arounds and event cover.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Management of initial event enquiries via email and phone, reporting to the Events Manager once interest is concrete
  • Co-ordination of client show arounds
  • Responsibility for event set ups and ensuring events run smoothly
  • Maintaining a functional, organised and clean back of house

The right candidate will: 

  • Be MS office proficient and ideally have a knowledge of Collins booking software
  • Have a passion for delivering high quality customer service
  • Be organised, efficient and able to self motivate
  • Have a willingness to learn and adopt systems already in place

Please note, additional bar hours can be added around event commitments for candidates looking for more hours.
