Nottingham Comedy Festival: Abigail Rolling – Shit Lawyer at the Embankment

Dark. Funny. Underfunded. And that’s just Abby. The criminal justice system is too.

Following sell-out success at her Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2022, Abby’s ‘Shit Lawyer’ stand-up comedy and storytelling show has since entertained crowds up and down the UK including Leicester and Glasgow Comedy festivals and Brighton Fringe.

Drawing on her 30 years’ experience as a legal aid lawyer, Abby takes her audience on an astonishing hour-long journey through the tragic decline of a legal system once revered as the best in the world with anecdotes of her clients’ escapades, legal conundrums, and plenty of laugh out loud moments.
