It is currently June 2023, in the middle of a heatwave, as award-winning comedian Juliette Burton sits writing these words. Her brand new work in progress show will be on in Nottingham in November. She’s excited, she loves that festival very much. In fact, she sold out her show there last year. And she’s excited about this new show. She’s been creating shows for ten years now and knows this one will be good and it’ll be funny. It’s about where our power lies, exploring identity, pulling together a fragmented sense of self, shaking things up and being who you really always were but never realised. And there’s comic book characters too. Because why not? But she hasn’t written the marketing copy yet. So she’s gonna be honest – that’s who she is. It could be the best show of your life and hers. Or it could be many other things. Let’s embrace the chaos, shall we?!
