Christmas in Castle Rock pubs looks like great food and beer with family and friends near; prosecco, parties and perhaps a pup keeping your feet warm at the bar. We’re here for it.
From putting Christmas presents under the tree to the people you love around the dinner table, we’re here to make sure Christmas with Castle Rock is magical.
As we inch closer to Christmas, let us do the hard work so you can enjoy the best bits. See below for our pubs’ festive menus, and keep scrolling for gift inspiration, special Christmas offerings and the pubs’ opening times over the holidays.
Every pub at Castle Rock is as unique as the next, and each has something different to offer this Christmas.
Here’s a list of pubs serving from an exclusive Christmas Menu (or two!) this Christmas-time:
Bread and Bitter
Canalhouse: Main / Buffet / Function
Festivities at the Embankment Brochure (includes all three menus)
Poppy and Pint
There’s no need to spend this Christmas-time alone. Our pubs are open as usual for the most part, and we’d love to see you (and the pooch).
Here’s a list of our festive opening times across all our pubs:
Christmas in Castle Rock pubs is great, but so is bringing to the pub home. Our Castle Rock online shop is home to everything from our latest cans, core Classics in bottles, merchandise and even bar-turned-homeware. It’s all there and available for home delivery.
As always, you can still escape the high street madness and combine your Christmas shopping with an afternoon at the pub. Pick up beery goodies from your Castle Rock local to collect Castle Rock Collective points as you spend.
So relax, we have Christmas covered.

Wow, What a Yard Party
How long has it been since we were gathered at a festival together? It certainly feels like a while. Well, at Castle Rock Brewery, we finally broke that three-year hiatus last month with the much-anticipated return of our Yard Party. In fact, it was so all-consuming that we’re only just getting round to doing our review now, almost a month later! At least that’s our excuse…
Brewer’s Notes – Steal My Sunshine
Check out our latest brew, Steal My Sunshine. It's a delicious dry hop pale with pine, citrus and assertive bitterness, balanced with subtle caramel notes. Brewed with Citra, Simcoe and Chinook hops.
Brewer’s Notes – On the Spritz
Castle Rock Brewery welcomed Turning Point Brew Co. to Nottingham to create On the Spritz, a delightful pale brewed ginger and elderflower. Perfect as those sunny, long evenings start to roll in.
Brewer’s Notes – Majesty
Majesty is a golden ale brewed for the Queen’s platinum jubilee with all UK ingredients. Castle Rock is particularly excited to be using two UK hop varieties for the first time, Olicana and Jester.
