Brewer’s Notes – Fog People

Fog People is our latest beer, a big and juicy NEIPA coming in at 6% ABV. Our developmental brewer Matt took the time to write up a few notes about the beer and the process behind the pint.

BREWER’S NOTES: FOG PEOPLE

We felt it’d been a while since we brewed a big juicy hop bomb for you, so here goes nothing…

We’ve gone all out and used four of our favourite big hitting hops (Citra, Mosaic, Strata and Simcoe) to create a beer with a beautiful, bold and layered hop profile. Citrus, berries and stone fruit notes from Citra and Mosaic, pair with big tropical fruit from Strata, all underpinned by subtle pine and passionfruit notes from the Simcoe.

We’ve tried to balance all that hop flavour through a combination of a soft water profile, a hot mash, loads of oats and the low flocculating, low attenuating yeast strain London Ale iii.

Available in keg only, best paired with friends and your favourite (lightly) salted pub snack.
