Brewer’s Notes – Majesty

Majesty is our new platinum jubilee ale. Matt, our developmental brewer, takes the time to share a bit about the process behind the pint.


Brewed for the Queen’s platinum jubilee, Majesty is a tasty and quaffable golden ale brewed with all UK ingredients. We wanted to brew something that celebrated British beer styles and British ingredients, and a classic and simple Golden Ale felt right. We are particularly excited to be using two UK hop varieties for the first time, Olicana and Jester.

This beer is fermented with our house yeast culture, which we pitch from one brew to the next. It adds subtle fruity and floral notes to the beer and a clean, crisp finish. Perfectly complimenting the fresh aroma from the hops and cracker/biscuit characteristics of Maris Otter malt.

Available in cask only – best enjoyed in your favourite pub, to accompany a get together with family and friends. Whether or not you do this waving a flag and singing the national anthem is entirely up to you.


Malt: Maris Otter, Torrefied Wheat

Hops: Jester, Olicana

Yeast: Castle Rock House Yeast Culture

Allergens: Malted Barley, Wheat, Oats
