On the Spritz, brewed with ginger and elderflower and coming in at a delightful 3.9% ABV.
This beer was brewed in collaboration with the good people at Turning Point Brew Co.. We’ve wanted to do a beer together for a while so we were excited to be able to get something in the diary and brew a beer for this month’s Yard Party!
Josh and Chris from Turning Point were keen to brew a pale ale with elderflower and we decided it’d be great if we could pair it with ginger. Easy drinking and refreshing, ready for the lingering summer evenings ahead.
With this in mind we’ve kept the base beer very subtle. We use a low colour and simple malt grist, fresh and subtle UK hops for low bitterness, and our house yeast culture lends a clean and crisp finish.
This beer is available in cask now, in our pubs and beyond. And at such a low abv it’s an easy choice on sunny, summer days.
Malt: Maris Otter, Torrefied Wheat
Hops: Jester, Olicana
Yeast: Castle Rock House Yeast Culture
Allergens: Malted Barley, Wheat, Oats
Make sure you head down to our Yard Party for a chance to sample this tasty drop on cask in limited numbers.
We will also be using On the Spritz to serve three exclusive beer cocktails from the Franklin’s gin bar, guaranteed to get you in the party spirit! Keep your eye out here for more details.
