On Wednesday 16th March we had the pleasure of launching Into the Wild, our collab beer with Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, at the Canalhouse. We celebrated the event with a legendary Castle Rock pub quiz; a gallery showcasing nearly 100 artworks; an amazing raffle, and an all round excellent night at the pub.
The beer was brewed at Castle Rock, with help from the team at NWT, to celebrate our 20 years of friendship. For two decades we have been working together in a unique partnership, championing and protecting nature through creative initiatives.
Over the years, the Castle Rock community has helped raise over £130,000 for the Trust. From Wednesday’s fundraising event alone, we helped to raise over £1,500.
We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who bought tickets to the event – and for drinking us dry on the night! – and all the lovely local businesses who kindly donated prizes for our raffle to raise money for Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust:
If you’re interested in learning more about our partnership with Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust and getting to know some of the team, be sure to check out our brand new Castle Rock Brewery Podcast.
This three-part series explores the ways in which we work together, as well as discussion about the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust’s recent activities and appeals, their history and ways you can help support them in your every day lives.
