Fox and Crown
Welcoming pub in the historic town of NewarkFOOD MENU SUNDAY FOOD MENU
The Fox and Crown has been a Castle Rock pub since 1997. Situated in Newark, where we opened our first pub – The Old Kings Arms – two decades earlier, it holds a special place in our hearts.
The pub has gained accreditation as ‘Newark CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year’ 2018 and 2019 and for the first time ever, ‘Newark Town CAMRA Pub of the Year’, in 2019 too.
The Fox and Crown is a community pub through and through – as a regular supporter of local charities; a live music and open-mic venue; a beloved meeting space and a place to enjoy a proper pub meal.
Historically a traditional real ale pub in the heart of Newark, the Fox and Crown is a haven for a beer-drinker. The pub currently offers a range of up to 10 Cask Ales, 20 Traditional Ciders, 3 Lagers, 5 guest keg beers and 40+ bottled and canned beers. In addition, the soft drinks selection offers plenty of choice, and the coffee is locally sourced from Stewarts Coffee in Nottingham.
The Fox is open from 10.30am every day, to accommodate locals and visitors alike. Conveniently situated a two-minute walk from The Palace Theatre, the pub is the perfect spot for a pre-theatre dinner and drinks.
We look forward to welcoming you to The Fox and Crown!
