Collection and Delivery Details

Last Orders for Christmas Delivery:

• Last orders for Christmas delivery must be placed before 11am on Wednesday 18th December.
• For collection from the Vat and Fiddle, orders must be placed before midday on Sunday 22nd December for collection after midday on Christmas Eve.

Please note: Any orders placed after the Christmas delivery cut off times will be processed in the New Year and sent out Wednesday 8th January 2025.

For last minute Christmas shopping after the delivery cut off times, we recommend purchasing an Online Gift Card, which will be sent straight to the recipient’s email to use on anything they wish from our online shop. For locals, you can also try ringing our pubs to see what they have available, we offer 30% off cans and bottles to take away and in some cases have merchandise available, plus 5L, 10L & 20L polypins available by pre-order over the phone.

Collection from the Vat and Fiddle:

Our collection service is free of charge and available from the Vat and Fiddle, Queensbridge Road in the run up to Christmas. Please allow 48 hours from when you place the order to collect. The last collection day from the Vat and Fiddle will be Christmas Eve, for orders placed before midday on Sunday 22nd. Orders are available to collect between midday-9pm. Your order will be held at the Vat and Fiddle for two days – if you will struggle to collect in this time range we recommend choosing the delivery option.

Please note, all orders placed for collection must be collected by an adult over 18 years old.

Local Delivery:

Last orders for Local Christmas Delivery must be placed before 11am on Wednesday 18th December. Our local delivery service is £5 or free if you spend over £55. Please double check your order to ensure that you have clicked the correct delivery method. Deliveries are made by MSR Newsgroup to the following postcode every Thursday*:

NG1, NG2, NG3, NG4, NG5, NG6, NG7, NG8, NG80, NG9, NG10, NG11, NG12, NG13, NG14, NG15, NG16, NG24, NG25, DE7, DE72.

*During busy periods, orders may also be delivered on a Friday.

• Orders must be placed before 12pm each Wednesday to qualify for delivery the same week. For orders placed on Wednesday 18th, the cut off for guaranteed Christmas delivery is 11am.
• We will attempt to deliver between 10am-4pm. Please note, orders may be delivered after 4pm on the run up to Christmas, we will do our best to inform you if this happens.
• All deliveries are zero-contact to your doorstep. We will knock and/or ring the bell and take a photograph of your order as proof of delivery.
• Please ensure you are home during the time slot. If you are unable to be home, please inform us of a safe place where we can leave your delivery.
• Once an order is placed on your doorstep or in your safe place, Castle Rock is no longer liable for any theft, loss or damage to that product.
• Please note, all orders placed for delivery must be received by an adult over 18 years old.

National Delivery:

Last orders for National Christmas Delivery must be placed before 11am on Wednesday 18th December. Our National delivery service is £7.50, or free if you spend over £55. We use APC to deliver all of our national delivery orders. Our national delivery service is available for the UK only. We send out national deliveries every Wednesday, to qualify for delivery the same week you must place you order before 12pm Wednesday. For orders placed on Wednesday 18th, the cut off for guaranteed Christmas delivery is 11am.

Once your order has been sent out, APC will usually try to deliver it the next day. Please double check your order to ensure that you have clicked the correct delivery method.

The above relates to guaranteed delivery dispatched days; once orders have left the brewery we are unable to take responsibility for any delays.
