Nottingham Shakespeare Company is bringing the battle-scarred fields of France to life in our brewery yard with their stunning production of “Henry V”!
We’ve proudly supported Nottingham Shakespeare Company since they started in 2019. They’ve been bringing unique and exciting Shakespeare shows to the East Midlands. Founded by director Michelle-Louise Wright, their goal is to make Shakespeare’s work fun and accessible for everyone. They feature diverse casts, awesome productions, and free or ‘pay what you feel’ shows.
From August 7th to 17th, join the incredible cast as they recreate the legendary Battle of Agincourt and follow the young king’s thrilling quest for the French crown. Expect a captivating story full of ambition, loyalty, and epic battles that’ll keep you hooked!
To celebrate the performance and our partnership, some cast members came down to the brewery. They crafted a special limited-edition beer using our Pilot Project kit. Aptly named “Nottingham Shakesbeer – We Hoppy Few,” this exclusive brew will be available throughout the production. Its official release is on Wednesday, August 7th, coinciding with the opening night performance at Nottingham’s Roundhouse.
