Draught Session is now certified gluten free
From today, our much-loved core beer, Session will be certified gluten free in keg and cask! To celebrate, the Poppy and Pint will be hosting a full weekend dedicated to gluten free offerings including dedicated food specials and street food and a GF tap takeover from Shiny Brewery and Triple Point Brewery.

The Poppy and Pint sets its sights on Net Zero
While the Cop 27 climate change conference is set to commence from this Sunday, the Poppy and Pint in Lady Bay is already underway with plans to significantly reduce its carbon emissions across the next 18 months. The aim of these measures is to lay the groundwork for more carbon neutral pubs within the Castle Rock estate.

On Monday 9th May, our head brewer, Jon Edger, received a tip-off from an old brewing friend about an American brewer keen to visit the UK. We, of course, jumped at such an opportunity and, soon enough, received an email from an enthusiastic gent in Akron, Ohio.
