What is this Yard Party you speak of?
The Castle Rock Yard party is our annual two-day beer, music and food festival, hosted in our own brewery yard and adjoining brewery tap, the Vat and Fiddle.
Expect an insane line-up of beers from near and far, some of the best street food Notts has to offer, and a killer line-up of music to keep you dancing all day!
Children welcome until 6pm on both days.
When?
Friday 12th May 2023, 3pm-10.30pm (last orders 10:00pm)
Saturday 13th May 2023, 1pm-3pm (exclusive for Castle Rock app users!), 3pm-10.30pm (all other customers) – last orders 10:00pm

The entrance to the Yard Party is through the Vat and Fiddle, our lovely brewery tap. Just follow the signs!

The Beer List
Last year we had over 20 cask beers and more than 40 in keg, plus traditional ciders, and a gin bar. This year will be just as special! And, as always, there will be EVEN MORE beer available at the Vat and Fiddle.

Liam O’Kane and The Stabilisers – 2.30pm – 3.15pm
A veteran of the Nottingham scene, Liam has been playing as part of his band Jimmy The Squirrel and as a solo musician for around 20 years. He has toured around the country and released several albums. His beautiful voice is perfectly paired with his ability to write catchy and well versed songs.

The Food
Following on from last year we’ll be hosting a some of the best flood slingers in town. From savoury to sweet, we’ve got the best beer snacks on hand for all tastes!

Brewery Tours
We’ll be running brewery tours throughout the Yard Party, and they’re free! Tours are a great way to experience hands-on brewing. Hear our stories, stroll behind the scenes, see the pumping beery heart of who we are. Tour numbers are limited, so it’s first come first served, and tours will leave on time! We’ll let you know all the details soon…
The Vat and Fiddle
Open as usual to all customers, including those not attending the Yard Party.
As always, they will have tasty snacks and cobs on offer, as well as a fully decked out bar featuring even more beer, cider, spirits and soft drinks.
Yard Party attendees will have a wrist band and so can go wherever they please, however those without won’t be able to enter the Yard Party.
