This time, we’re heading over to the Barley Twist to meet Pat, their incredible general manager!
Position: General manager
How long have you worked at Castle Rock for?: 3.5 years
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?: “Giving people a place that isn’t work or home, where they can be comfortable with an excellent pint, bottle or glass of something delicious.”
Do you have any hobbies?: “Playing card games and learning new things.”
What’s your favourite drink?: “Something red or brown on cask, nicely malty and cascades beautifully. Something you’d see an old man enjoying after a tough day in the garden!”
What’s one fun fact about you that most people don’t know?: “I have a life time membership to a board games café in Sheffield because I won a tournament for a brand new game called Quorto, a mix of Chess, Connect 4 and Noughts and Crosses.”
