Dust off your running shoes and head to the University of Nottingham’s University Park Campus on Friday August 2nd for the Formula One Castle Rock 10k!
This 10k road race features two laps around University Park Campus and Lakeside.
The race starts on Beeston Lane near the Humanities Building. First, you’ll head up Cripps Hill toward Cut Through Lane. Then, you’ll pass the Keighton Auditorium, descend Keighton Hill toward Lakeside Arts Centre, and circle the lake. The route then takes you up East Drive, past the Portland Building, and toward the Trent Building clock tower. After running through the Trent Building courtyard, you’ll go down Jubilee Avenue and back onto Beeston Lane for the second lap.
Finally, the second lap ends with a turn off Beeston Lane toward Rutland and Sherwood halls of residence. You’ll finish in our race village, where you can celebrate with a pint from Castle Rock, food from our vendors, and soak up the lively post-race atmosphere.
