We are delighted to announce we have been awarded the Investors in the Environment Green Accreditation! Being a longstanding iiE member we proudly hosted the evening at The Embankment, surrounded by other Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire businesses. The accreditation recognises our commitment to being environmentally sustainable, with us minimising our carbon footprint by monitoring each pubs energy use on a weekly basis. This is the highest achievable level within the iiE and are thrilled to know our customers can enjoy a pint, knowing that the much deserved refreshment has a far wider, greater cause than to just wind down for the evening!
What’s next for us is to look at further improving our general waste collection from all our premises and fitting water diffusers onto taps to reduce water usage. We also have plans to fit solar panels and additional systems into our head offices and the brewery itself. We look forward to keeping you up to date with all things environmental and sustainable.
