We have exciting news! Our annual Yard Party returns next year, on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th June 2024. And, for the first time ever, we’re offering discounted weekender tickets, too.

For those that don’t know, the Yard Party is our annual celebration of beer in our very own brewery yard. Well, actually it starts in the Old Cold Store (next to the Vat and Fiddle) and spills out into the yard. There’s a festival bar inside, with over 20 keg lines and 15 casks on at one time. Outside, there’s more bars: a quick serve bar, serving Castle Rock draught, gin and cocktails, and more; street food vendors; and a music stage.

Music is curated by Revolution Sounds, whom you may remember from their days running the Maze.

What to expect:

• Some of the best beers we can get our hands on. The beer menu is lovingly created throughout the run up to the Yard Party. Meaning we’re able to get hold of save some very special beers in advance, and snap up exciting new releases as they drop.
  We take suggestions! If you have any beers you’d love to see on the bar, please get in touch via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and we’ll be sure to pass on to the team. 
• Sensational street food. We’ve had it all, from hot dog-pizzas, to donuts to die for. Plus, the Vat and Fiddle and Castle Rock Kitchen bring their own bites to the table.
• A legendary line-up. The Yard Party doubles up as a music festival, showcasing some of Notts’ best musical talent. And this year is set to be bigger and better than ever.

Useful Information

BAR PAYMENT: 

The Yard Party bar accepts cash and card, however card is preferable.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE TRAIN STATION:

Exiting the front of the train station, you’ll see a ginormous building to your left. Head towards that and look for the blue tower peeking out – that’s us! Head down the hill and you’ll be there in no time. Just a hop, skip and jump away from the station, tram stop and Carington St bus stops.

PARKING:

Due to all the investment going on in this area of the city, parking spots are few and far between. Your best bet is to use public transport or get a taxi, but, if you need to drive, two multistoreys are located 5 minutes away off Canal Street.

TOILETS:

There are multiple toilet facilities on site, including an accessible toilet.

UNDER 18’s: 

Under 18’s go free, until 6pm when this event will become 18+ only. Please note, there will be loud music at this event – please bring ear defenders if required.
