On Friday 7th November, our very own Embankment marked a decade of success with two unforgettable nights of celebration.
The festivities kicked off on Thursday with a Close To Tears charity gig, raising money for the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust. The event raised over £400, which will go a long way in supporting the Trust’s important work to protect and conserve local wildlife.
Friday night was the grand celebration, and of course, the Embankment didn’t hold back! To mark the occasion, the bar featured two brand-new Pilot Project brews, created by the wonderful team. The first, Perfect 10, was a delicious 4.5% chocolate honeycomb stout, while the second, Tekau, was a 4.3% New Zealand pale ale. Both were absolutely incredible!
And because no birthday is complete without food, head chef Mark curated a special menu featuring some of the pub’s most popular dishes from the decade, including the iconic Embankment Burger V and a mouth-watering Frosties and Nutella panna cotta – If that doesn’t make your stomach rumble, we don’t know what will!
Some special regulars of the pub were also invited personally and as a thank you for their support, were treated to our team discount for the evening!
A decade on, the Embankment remains a cornerstone of Nottingham’s pub scene and our pub group – celebrating great beer, good food, and the people who make it all possible. Here’s to many more years!
