We are pleased to announce the launch of our brand new collaborative beer with Abstract Jungle Brewery and 47 Degrees Coffee. This Mocha Porter was brewed using on-the-day freshly roasted Guatemalan Chalabal Estrella beans and cacao nibs from the team over at 47 Degrees, a few units and a literal stone’s throw away from Abstract Jungle. The team from the Cricketers Rest made the short journey to get involved in the collaborative project.

The attention then turned onto the Cricketers Rest for the launch night on Thursday November 16th. There was a great crowd in the pub for the launch with the first firkin selling out within a few short hours.

When you get your hands on the Mocha Porter, you’ll be treated to a thick, rich body with a nice sweetness, incredible aromas from the cacao nibs and fresh coffee with a lingering taste of luscious dark chocolate and an intense nutty coffee flavour throughout every mouthful.

Mocha 47 Porter will be available in Castle Rock pubs from mid-November and is sure to sell out quickly! You can check out some of the photos from the launch night at the Cricketers Rest below:
