We will be officially releasing the last beer in our Commemoration line on Sunday 11th November, in this centennial year of Remembrance. The black cherry porter, ‘Goodbye to All That’ commemorates the end of the first world war and will be rich and luxuriant in flavour and feel.
The Commemoration beers have been raising money for Amnesty International and the Royal British Legion since their inception in June 2014, and we would like to present the cheques to both the charities on this day, as well as partaking in a minute’s silence at 1:30pm. We warmly invite everyone that would like to come along. After the silence we shall ring the bell as many towns and villages also did to celebrate on Armistice day, to be followed by pouring of the ‘first pint’. There will also be cake, homemade by the chef using a good dose of the special beer, for you to enjoy.
We hope you will join us.
