Tier 3 T&Cs 

  1. The following pubs are taking online bookings via Gigantic: Bread & Bitter, Canalhouse, Fox & Grapes.
  2. The following pubs are taking online bookings via Design My Night: Embankment, Poppy & Pint
  3. The following pubs are taking online bookings via phone / email / social media:  Golden Eagle, Vat & Fiddle.
  4. Pubs may offer inside booking, outside booking or both.
  5. Booking availability is limited.
  6. Booking does not guarantee service and ID may be required.
  7. The Gigantic booking system requires a £5 deposit. This deposit will be taken off the first round of drinks when you arrive.
  8. Booking, and your visit, is subject to Tier 3 rules, including:
    – Bookings should be from household groups or support bubbles only.
    – Alcohol can only be consumed with a substantial meal.
  9. You must provide the details of the entire party, in line with government requirements.
  10. Your booking slot must be strictly kept to. If there are no customers booked after you, or you have the last slot of the day, you may be able to keep your table at the manager’s discretion.
  11. We will hold the table for a maximum of 15 minutes in case of lateness.
  12. You must give at least 24 hours’ notice if you wish to cancel your booking, otherwise deposits will not be refunded.
  13. Please do not abuse the booking system. Repeated no shows will result in blacklisting and will prevent you from being able to make future bookings.
  14. We may amend or remove the booking system at any time. In this case, any outstanding deposits will be refunded.
  15. We will aim to provide rain cover where possible in outside areas, and the majority of the Canalhouse’s garden is under cover. In the event of adverse weather, please be aware that we are subject to restricted capacities and so may not be able to arrange alternative seating under cover or indoors.
  16. Please do not visit our pubs if you have any symptoms of COVID-19.
  17. Please follow government guidelines.
  18. You must respect physical distancing, health and safety protocols, our teams and each other during your visit.
  19. These procedures are very new to our business and our teams. We ask for your patience and understanding as we get to grips with them.

Tier 2 T&Cs

  3. The following pubs are taking online bookings via phone / email / social media: Cricketers Rest, Golden Eagle, Horse & Plough and Vat & Fiddle.
  4. Pubs may offer inside booking, outside booking or both.
  5. Booking availability is limited.
  6. Booking does not guarantee service and ID may be required.
  7. The Gigantic booking system requires a £5 deposit. This deposit will be taken off the first round of drinks when you arrive.
  8. We will accept party sizes of 1-6 people.
  9. We cannot guarantee the table layout of a booking will fully accommodate the 1m+ physical distancing required for individuals of multiple households. Group bookings should therefore consist only of those within one household and/or support bubble as per government guidelines.
  10. You must provide the details of the entire party, in line with government requirements.
  11. Your booking slot must be strictly kept to. If you have booked via Gigantic, please arrive ten minutes before your slot. Last orders will be called 15 minutes before the end. You must have finished your drink by the end of the slot and be ready to leave, to allow us time to clean your table and prepare for the next customers.
