The Vat and Fiddle, Castle Rock’s brewery tap, is a 1930’s art deco-style building located a short stroll from Nottingham train station. The pub is home to the Golding’s Room, The Visitors’ Centre and The Old Cold Store. The former two rooms are a spacious and airy – very much a ‘blank canvas’ making them highly versatile allowing each event to be tailored to individual needs.

The Old Cold Store, opened in 2018 is a brand-new function space, complete with private bar. This huge area can be organised to your liking and is suitable for a range of events including wedding receptions and corporate meetings. We have a buffet menu from £5.95 per person and food from our regular menu is available for pre-order upon request.

Facilities include:

  • Sound system
  • Projector
  • Free WiFi
  • Plasma TV

Please note, due to the location of the pub there is unfortunately no parking for members of the public or customers of the Vat and Fiddle/Old Cold Store. That said, public transport is excellent in this area and surrounding areas can easily catch the bus to the train station, which is only a minute away. The tram service also provides access from further afield and their are many cycle routes nearby.
