The Borough of Broxtowe's Hemlock Happening, held on Bramcote Hills Park, has been given a financial boost by Castle Rock as a reminder of the brewery's origins in the borough.

The donation, in advance of the annual event, was made by Castle Rock’s Olivia Auckland and Pete McWilliam to members of the Stapleford Golden Jubilee group who work alongside the council to organise the day of free activities.

Speaking for the group, Barbara Brooke thanked the brewery for their support.
